What would be the best program to edit AVCHD files in? (Especially ones from Sony Cams…)

   The best Video software with the best price right now is Final Cut Studio 2 from Apple. It handles HD very well.

   If you don’t have a Mac or don’t want one, there is also Avid which can get a little steeper in price, but comes with specific hardware for faster/live rendering. Final Cut Studio also has live rendering, but it is dependent on the computer you buy.
